The British Columbia Law Institute offers a challenging and stimulating environment for lawyers, graduates of law school, and law students interested in law reform specifically and public interest law generally. We are particularly interested in candidates with a solid background in legal research and outreach to the legal profession, communities engaged in law reform, older adults, and the general public.

The BCLI regularly hires research assistants and research lawyers for four-month terms commencing in January, May, and September. We are also open to engaging research assistants and research lawyers on a full- or part-time basis at other times during the year.
