Individuals and Firms Supporting the Law Institute
While the British Columbia Law Institute receives significant financial support from major funding bodies, we also receive donations and contributions from individuals and firms. These donations are very important to us because:
- they permit work on topics which are important but for which specific project funding is not available;
- they have a high symbolic value in demonstrating the broad support or the work of the Institute;
- they provide individuals who have a commitment to law reform the opportunity to give tangible expression to that commitment;
- they contribute to maintaining this website, ensuring that all publications of the Institute and the former Law Reform Commission remain available to the public and the legal profession and that the Law Reform Database is kept up-to-date.
Please consider making a donation. The British Columbia Law Institute is registered as a charitable organization and a tax receipt is issued for all donations. If you have any questions about making a donation, please e-mail us at bcli@bcli.org.
