Section 8 of the Limitation Act sets the ultimate limitation period in the province. It provides that, except in a few specific cases, no one may bring a lawsuit after 30 years have expired since the right to do so first arose. This project examines the purposes, drawbacks, and potential changes to the current ultimate limitation period.
