The Canadian Centre for Elder Law and the Stetson University College of Law is hosting the 2009 World Study Group on Friday, November 20th, 2009 and Saturday, November 21st, 2009. Hosted this year at Stetson University's beautiful campus in Gulfport, Florida, this year's expanded format will allow attendees both a chance to learn and to reconnect with experts in elder law from around the world.
Panels and discussion runs Friday, November 20th, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 21st, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. The Friday afternoon session will focus on presentations of research. The Saturday morning session will be devoted to discussions on how to teach elder law, while the afternoon session will discuss key developments in the field.
Dinner on Friday will be sponsored by the Center for Excellence in International Law.

Acommodations are to be made with the Sirata Beach Resort & Conference Center, located at 5300 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach, Florida. Room reservations can be made by calling 1-800-344-5999 and attendees can secure the $99 Stetson rate by identifying themselves as World Study Group registrants. To secure the special Stetson rate, you must register via telephone.
Further information - Anyone driving or renting a car, on-site overnight guest parking fee of $8 per vehicle per night was waived by the hotel. Due to limited parking, only one vehicle per guest room will be permitted to park on the property. Reservations can be made using a money order, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or personal check received 10 days in advance of reservation request or reservation will be released. Individual deposits are refundable if the cancellation is received by the hotel at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
