The International Law Reform Group (ILRG) focuses on law reform and related work on an international basis.

The mission of ILRG is to support and strengthen the rule of law and respect for law and good governance. Its focus is on countries or jurisdictions without their own law reform agencies, countries or jurisdictions whose law reform agencies would benefit from working jointly with us, and, especially, developing countries. The work of ILRG supports the development of modern laws and law reforms and as such supports:

individual rights and freedoms;
the development of robust and efficient judicial and administrative functions; and
development of commerce, trade and investment.

The ILRG provides the following services:

legal research;
law reform reports;
drafting legislation;
policy development and advice;
technical assistance;
training;
public legal education; and
collection and dissemination of information.
