Boughton BCLI Great Debate

Boughton Law Corporation and the British Columbia Law Institute are proud to host the inaugural “Great Debate,” a lively and entertaining evening of dinner and debate moderated by CBC Radio One’s Rick Cluff. The debate topic is: “Resolved that copyright law has no place in the modern iWorld.”

The dinner and debate is preceded by a cocktail hour and silent auction of author-signed books. Net proceeds of the evening will be divided toward support of BCLI’s law reform work and the new UBC Law Faculty building whose construction is expected to begin in 2009.

Tickets are $99 a person, or $750 for a table of eight. The cocktail hour begins at 5:30 PM, October 29, 2008.
