 About the Course:
Gender-inclusive legal writing demonstrates a high level of professionalism and commitment to justice.

Presenter Alison Wilkinson, staff lawyer with the BC Law Institute & Canadian Centre for Elder Law will help attendees:
– Answer questions like: “What do I do if I’ve misgendered someone?” or “How do I use ‘they’ as a singular pronoun?”
– Implement simple tools to write in a gender inclusive manner;

Participants will have the opportunity to apply the material and hone their skills, and will be provided concrete examples to use immediately in their law practice.
