The British Columbia Law Institute has submitted a responseto the consultation for the review of the SocietyAct being carried out by the Ministry of Finance. The response affirms theconclusions of the BCLI's 2008 Report onProposals for a New Society Act, noting particularly that the time has cometo move on reform of the Society Act.The response also contains discussion of the two issues for reform highlightedby the ministry.
